Growing up in the south pole Katara and Sokka had never experienced summer, or any other season for that matter. According to Toph, the blazing summer of the Fire Nation was the hottest and most unfathomable of the whole world. Though it wasn’t heat that kept Katara on her toes.
For a nation with such hot days year round, the night was surprisingly cold in the Fire Nation.
